Fujin warrants its products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Our products and components are covered during the stated period, under normal use and service, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this limited warranty.

• Frames
  Fujin windows are warranted against such defects in material that might result in blistering, peeling, flaking, corroding, and uneven fading of the frame under normal conditions for five (5) years from the day of arrival at the destination port.
• Hardware
  A window and door hardware wear out as a part of regular use, these components are warranted against defects or failure under normal conditions for three (3) years from the date of arrival at the destination port.
• Glass
  Fujin glass is covered for one (1) year from the date of arrival at the destination port, against failure due to a manufacturing defect or subject to thermal shock.
• Painted Products
  Fujin painted windows are warranted against such defects in material that might result from paint peeling, flaking, cracking, and major non-uniform discoloration for five (5) years under normal conditions.

The following are excluded from coverage under this warranty:

• All product imperfections and/or defects such as cracks, scratches, dents, bends, tears, and punctures that are reported after thirty (30) days date of arrival at the destination port.
• This warranty does not include the cost of transportation to or from us.
• Freight insurance has to be acquired by the customer to ensure the value of the products from the moment they leave the factory until they arrive at the destination port.
• Products with visible defect(s) such as scratches, dents, and cracks are installed without notifying Fujin before installation.
• Product failures outside the warranty period.
• Minor imperfections in windows and doors that do not affect the product’s structural integrity.
• Any product which has been repaired or modified or any replacement parts added to the Windows and doors by a non-authorized person by Fujin.
• Any defect, malfunction or failure to perform, which has occurred because of unreasonable use, improper application or the failure to perform reasonable or necessary maintenance.
• Product failure, or loss due to:
  • Any damage to the window or window components due to the settlement of building structure.
  • Any damage caused by wind, hail, lightning, or another incident of weather, deemed as an act of God.
  • Damage or window seal failure caused by a third party, including but not limited to, modifications, alterations, abuse, improper use, vandalism, impact by a foreign object, the act of God or nature, fire or another casualty, improper handling, storage or installation.
  • Routine wear of components such as sweeps, hinges, weather-stripping, corner seal pads, and hardware through regular usage.
  • Damage caused by inappropriate finishes, solvents, brick-wash, cleaning chemicals, or abrasive cleaners.
  • Non-factory applied finishes, applied sealants or caulking
  • This warranty does not cover any hardware that has been tampered with or any product which has been improperly installed, abused, misused, worn out, altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended.
  • Exposure to harmful pollutants, the corrosion of non-vinyl products or components due to the proximity to coastal areas, excessive thermal or physical stress and/or high humidity levels such as but not limited to improper storage.
  • The product installed within 500m of the seafront should have a finish designed for the site. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
• Color fade, due to:
  • Finish fading due to UV or sunlight, rain, or other weather-related exposure, a variation of stain absorption due to grain, color, and texture difference.
  • Exposure to excessive localized heat, high-moisture environments (including pools, hot tubs, and greenhouses) or water leakage
  • Exposure to salt spray and other coastal conditions
  • Acid rain or other corrosive elements
  • Faded corner welds on colored windows, this could happen over time.
  • Improperly installed security systems
  • Damage caused by high in-home humidity (condensation, frost, and mold)
  • Damage caused by inappropriate finishes, solvents, brick-wash, or cleaning chemicals
  • Color touch-up is the responsibility of the homeowner.
• Minor imperfections in glass, due to:
  • Under no circumstances is broken glass covered under this warranty. According to the Canadian Glazing Standards Board (CGSB) for glazing quality glass, defects such as minute bubbles, eyes, crystals, and/or scratches are typical and inherent to any manufactured glass product. These minor defects are not warranted
  • Minor variations in glass color
  • Minor imperfections in the panel and/or frame graining or color
  • Installation inconsistent with recognized industry standards
  • Condensation on windows, which may occur as a natural result of humidity within the house or building area.
