A window is made up of 85% glass, and choosing the right one will have an enormous impact on the efficiency of your windows and doors. That is why, when looking for the correct type of glass for any particular purpose, you need to consider:
- The amount of light transmitted by the glass
- Solar heat gain allowed by glass
- Thermal conductivity of glass
- Where it will be installed (Weather conditions)
- Amount of weight or force it needs to sustain

Tempered Glass (Single Pane)
Windows that have the potential for human impact are legally required to contain tempered glass. Also known as toughened glass, tempered glass is stronger and safer than regular glass. The tempering process changes the properties of the glass so that if it should be broken, it crumbles into dull cubes to minimize any injury. This type of glass is a good option for environments where the temperature fluctuates from 8 - 15 degrees Celsius.
Double Pane
A double-pane window, also known as an Insulated Glass Unit or IGU, is a window with two panes of glass separated by a vacuum or gas (like argon). Twice as efficient as a single pane window, IGUs are designed to reduce both energy loss and outside noise, such as street traffic. IGUs keep warm air indoors during heavy winters, cool air in during humid summer and your home quieter all year long. IGUs prevent 25 percent of the sun’s heat from entering your home, reducing glare and UV damage to carpeting, drapes and furniture.
Triple Pane
Triple glazed windows have an outstanding insulation performance, especially in areas with extreme weather. They also are resistant to condensation and reduce sound transmission. Their three layers of glass also provide increased security –– the thicker area is harder for vandals to break. Additionally, they offer great energy savings when compared to regular and double glazed windows.
Laminated Glass
Performs well under impact. Also known as safety glass, it is designed to hold together if broken
Textured Glass
Ideal for front doors, bathroom windows, and fanlights.
Reflective Glass
It gives a beautiful mirror-like appearance that cuts off solar heat, ideal for large projects such as malls or office buildings.

1. Key locking handles
Key locking security handles are fitted as standard.
2. Strong construction
Robust multi-chambered uPVC/Aluminum construction with welded joints for added strength.
3. Internal glazing
By internally fitting the beading it means the glass cannot be removed from the outside. This makes your windows more secure.
4. Toughened glass
Safety glass to increase its strength compared with normal glass If broken it will disintegrate smaller pieces that interlock with neighboring pieces and therefore don't fall readily.
5. Shoot bolt locks
High security steel shot bolts lock into the frame at two points.
Grids
Fujin offers grids in pre-designed styles as well as customized patterns upon request. Grids are decorative fixed inserts for windows and doors that add a traditional and personal touch. Grids can either reside between the glass in our double-pane and triple-pane windows or on the outside of the glass for a more historic look. The perfect window grid pattern is often the final touch in creating the ideal aesthetic of your home. We offer grids in pre-designed styles as well as customized profiles upon request.

Screens
Flyscreens are the best possible solution that keeps pests and insects from finding entry into your home and office interiors in all seasons. Protection that keeps insects away all year long, these screens come in different sizes and designs to fit doors and windows of all premises.
